Hapé/Hapeh or Rapé/Rapeh is a general term used by indigenous tribes to refer to a shamanic “snuff,” a natural plant medicine which is used as a spiritual healing tool. It is comprised of Mapacho (Nicotiana Rustica) and other plant medicines. It's a beautiful spiritual medicine used to heal us physically, spiritually and emotionally. It assists us in getting out of our heads and into our hearts. Hapé is either self-administered or administered by a medicine carrier or practitioner. The effects are experienced rapidly through administration up each nostril. Every hapé has different qualities, but in general hapé helps to sharpen the mind, clears energy blockages, aligns and opens the chakras and opens our third eye chakra, and allows healing and processing of emotions, grief, anxiety and depression. Hapeh provides very calming effects, and a deep meditation process that can aid us in our spiritual awakening and our connection to our spirit guides.
