I came to Katukina Vashawá with a clear intention: to call in and honor my Divine Masculine after years of believing that living primarily in my Divine Feminine would validate my gender expression. Recently, I’ve come to understand that I embody both the Divine Masculine and the Divine Feminine, and I wanted to sit with this medicine to deepen that integration.
While the experience was gentle, I didn’t find it carried the strength or depth I was seeking. In comparison, Golden Phoenix—one of my go-to hapés—consistently allows me to connect with Spirit in a profound, expansive way that Katukina Vashawá simply did not match. The energy here felt softer, subtler, and less activating for the kind of inner work I intended to do.
I wasn’t alone in this experience. A friend who sat with Katukina Vashawá alongside me also felt it was not as powerful as expected. While this hapé may be supportive for someone seeking a gentler, more subdued experience, it didn’t deliver the intensity or spiritual connection I personally look for in my practice.
